Who we are
Bespoke Joinery NE is a joinery and kitchen installation business based in County Durham. We are responsible for the personal details you give us through this website, by phone, by email or on WhatsApp.
If you have any questions about this policy or your details, email info@bespokejoineryne.co.uk or ring 07586 653153.
What we collect
When you use the quote form or contact us, we may collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and postcode
- details of the job, such as the room, the service you are interested in, measurements and notes
- photographs, plans or drawings you choose to upload or send us
- the days and times you would prefer for a design visit
We do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a design visit
- to prepare a written quote and carry out the work if you go ahead
- to keep records we need for tax and accounting
We use your details because you have asked us to quote for or carry out work, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for marketing mailings.
Who we share it with
We only share what is needed to do the job. That can include the registered electrician, gas engineer or other trades working on your project, and suppliers where an order needs a delivery address. Quote requests and uploaded photographs are stored with our website and database provider, which keeps them on secure servers.
How long we keep it
If you do not go ahead, we delete your enquiry and photographs once they are no longer needed. If we carry out work for you, we keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires for tax purposes.
Cookies and browser storage
The site remembers whether you chose "Essential only" or "Accept all" on the cookie notice, so it does not ask again. This is stored in your own browser. Some pages show an embedded Google map, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. You can clear cookies and stored site data at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. You can also object to how we use them. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
