Kitchens and fitted joinery in Newcastle

Made locally in the North East and installed by the same small team.
We work across Newcastle upon Tyne, from full kitchens to fitted bedrooms, under stair storage and media walls.

Joinery measured for Newcastle homes,
then made to fit the room properly.

Made to measure fitted wardrobes for a Durham bedroom
Made to measure joinery installed across Newcastle and nearby areas.

Newcastle has everything from Tyneside flats and Victorian terraces to post war semis and new build estates. Older properties in particular rarely match the drawing. Walls lean, floors fall away and alcoves are never the same size twice.

We measure every room ourselves and make the work to suit what is actually there. Units are scribed to walls and ceilings on site, and whatever we find behind old fittings is dealt with properly rather than covered up.

Where a job needs electrics, gas, plastering or decorating, we bring in the regular trades we work alongside and project manage the lot, so you have one point of contact from the first visit to the handover.

Why Newcastle homeowners choose us

Straightforward working practices taken from the way we already run jobs across the North East.

Over twenty years on the tools

Matt is a time served joiner and remains involved from measuring through to fitting.

The same small team

The people who discuss and measure the job are the people who return to build it.

One fixed written price

The agreed units, trades and making good are set out before work starts.

Registered trades

Electrical work is completed by a NICEIC registered electrician and gas work by a Gas Safe engineer.

Built for the actual room

Floors, walls and ceilings are measured and the work is scribed and adjusted on site.

Dates agreed in advance

Start and finish dates are discussed before anything is removed, with changes communicated directly.

How it works

Four clear steps from the first message to the final walk through.

1

Enquire

Call, email or send photographs on WhatsApp, along with your Newcastle postcode and a rough outline of the job.

2

Measure and quote

We visit the room, measure it properly and prepare a design and fixed written price without charging for the visit.

3

Book

Once the details are agreed, we set the dates and coordinate the materials and any registered trades the job needs.

4

Build and hand over

The same team fits the work, deals with what the room reveals, clears the waste and walks the finished job with you.

I would recommend this company and give it a 5 star rating from my own personal experience. It was a challenging kitchen to fit but from start to finish Matthew made a professional job. The workmanship is amazing and an honest and very nice lad to have worked with.

Tracy AllisonNewcastle

Matt is an absolute perfectionist. The quality of his work is outstanding and his attention to detail is to be admired. The ability he has to make complex carpentry adjustments to ensure a perfect fit is amazing. He was joined by Cameron who worked equally as hard.

Chris EdgeCounty Durham

Absolutely fantastic service from Matty and his team. When he arrived to put my new kitchen in we discovered my floor had rotted unnoticed due to a leak under the washing machine, and without hesitation it was repaired with no complaints or fuss. Trustworthy, honest and goes above and beyond.

Questions about work in Newcastle

Practical answers before you arrange a visit.

Do you cover all of Newcastle?

Yes. We work across Newcastle upon Tyne, including Jesmond, Heaton, Gosforth, Fenham and the West End. Send us your postcode if you are unsure.

Can you work in Tyneside flats and older terraces?

Yes. Older walls, floors and ceilings are often uneven, so we measure the room ourselves and scribe, pack and cut the work to what is actually there. If stripping out reveals a problem, we explain it before covering anything up.

Is the Newcastle design visit free?

Yes. The visit, measure, design and written quote are free, with no obligation at the end of them.

Can you handle electrics, gas and plastering?

Yes. We coordinate our regular NICEIC registered electrician and Gas Safe engineer, plus plastering, tiling and decorating where the job needs them. The relevant electrical and gas certificates are issued afterwards.

Can you install a kitchen I have already bought?

Yes. We offer installation only as well as full design, supply and installation. We check the order and room before starting and tell you if anything is missing or unsuitable.

Where is the furniture made?

Our fitted furniture and joinery is made locally here in the North East, then installed by the same team that measured the room.
